Elizabeth (Lisa) Dewey currently serves as the Pro Bono Partner at DLA Piper, helping shape the firm's strategic vision for pro bono work. Lisa works closely with firm clients, legal services providers, nonprofits, and academic institutions to design and deliver collaborative, high impact pro bono initiatives. She leads the US pro bono team to inspire and facilitate participation across the firm. Lisa also served as Director of New Perimeter, which is DLA Piper's nonprofit affiliate to advance justice and strengthen institutions to support a fairer, more sustainable, and prosperous world, for ten years. She is the Vice Chair and Commissioner of the DC Access to Justice Commission and serves on the boards of the DC Affordable Law Firm and the Appleseed Foundation.
Claire Donse has been with DLA Piper for fifteen years and serves as our International Pro Bono Partner. She is the Co-Director of New Perimeter, DLA Piper’s global pro bono initiative and ohe oversees the firm’s Global Scholarships Programme. Claire’s work focuses on the rule of law, international development, and climate and biodiversity. She collaborates with governments, academic institutions, and both commercial and pro bono clients to establish high-impact, cross-sector initiatives that support access to justice and create social, economic, and environmental value around the globe,
James Sandman is a Distinguished Professor of Practice and Public Service at the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law. He served as President of the Legal Services Corporation for nine years and has held the title of President Emeritus for the past six years. Jim also serves as the Chair of the DC Access to Justice Commission. He is the recipient of The American Lawyer Lifetime Achievement Award.
Gindi Vincent, joined Honeywell 4 years ago and has held several leadership roles. She currently serves as General Counsel, Low Carbon Energy and Industrial Solutions and as Chair of Honeywell’s Global Pro Bono Program. She has more than 30 years of experience in the energy sector, including eight years with ExxonMobil. Gindi currently serves on the Board of Directors of Rebuilding Together.
