Please join our Employment lawyers on both sides of the Atlantic as they discuss litigation trends in the Media, Sport and Entertainment space. Our team will share our insights and top tips for effective risk management as you grapple with such challenges as status misclassification, wage and hour claims and the competitive talent landscape.

Among the issues we will explore are how to structure talent compensation agreements to minimize risk; potential wage, hour and overtime issues (and liability) under US and UK law; and key issues when entering into agreements, including those related to production, talent agencies and payroll services.

We will also examine recent litigation in the sector, including class and representative claims under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) against multiple joint defendants, such as retailers, advertising agencies, production companies, payroll companies and casting agencies, as well as high-profile equal pay claims in the UK.
