Presented during a live webinar
After our first WIN Insights Report (published in 2020), we were inundated with feedback from in-house lawyers from around the world about how useful it was to hear from their peers. This second edition of the report will take an updated look at the opportunities and challenges for in-house lawyers globally.
We received 293 responses to the WIN Insights Survey between November 2021 – January 2022. Through the survey responses we are able to better understand how the ongoing challenges from the pandemic are affecting the in-house lawyer’s role, from budgets and strategy to flexible working. How organisations are taking meaningful action on sustainability and D&I. And, most importantly, how in-house lawyers are feeling right now.
The key themes we identified include:
- Business growth opportunities
- Importance of feeling valued at work
- Sustainability & ESG
- Long-term flexible working
- Legal strategy and priorities
- Changes in leadership
- Innovation and legal technology
- Lawyers as business partners
