A report produced by DLA Piper’s cybersecurity and data protection team

We are delighted to invite you to the launch of the DLA Piper GDPR fines and data breach survey 2021.

GDPR has come of age. It has been more than two and a half years since Europe's new data protection regime first applied on 25 May 2018. Supervisory authorities have grown in confidence imposing some notable fines relating to a wide variety of infringements. However many open legal questions remain and enforcement practice varies significantly.

In this third edition of DLA Piper's annual GDPR fines and data breach report we consider the emerging trends in enforcement and sanctions as well as reporting on personal data breach notifications across the 31 countries surveyed.

Please join our live webinar launch of the report on Thursday 21 January (2pm, GMT), when our IPT partners Ross McKean and Ewa Kurowska-Tober and Counsel, Heidi Waem will discuss the key findings, emerging enforcement trends and answer questions.
