Cab Cribs app
We are delighted to announce the launch of our first 'app' to our WIN community – an updated version of our highly successful Cab Cribs series, available for free download onto iPhones, iPads and most Android-based phones and tablets.
Lawyers and contract managers dealing with commercial contracts relating to IT, outsourcing, logistics or a other goods or services, will encounter common legal and commercial issues. English lawyers, for example, routinely experience debate during negotiations over the difference between 'reasonable endeavours' and 'best endeavours'. You may not have time to take advice, but need something to quickly jog your memory. We have therefore developed an app to bring together a set of handy guides on what such concepts mean in practice, summarising the law (in England) relating to them as it currently stands.
These succinct guides are enough to act as reminder, or crib sheet, in a taxi on the way to a meeting – hence the name 'Cab Cribs'.
Whilst they aren’t a substitute for detailed advice or in-depth legal analysis, we hope they will support you in quickly understanding a concept, or perhaps prompt you to look more closely at the point in issue when you have more time.
Updates and new additions to the Cab Cribs series will be published from time to time.
